The 6.4 is a lumbering engine. It’s completely maxed out. Almost as if Dodge knew this and dialed it back to 6.2 liters for the hellcat. 5.7 with an 8 speed transmission is much peppier. Just doesn’t have the raw horse power to keep up with the 6.4 top end. You can throw money at a 5.7 to change this, but I’d take that money and get a hellcat under warranty.

Hey! I have an A5 quattro soft top coupe and was wondering if i’d still be able to add some exhaust to it? Ik it’s kinda a no brainer question but I just want to be 100% about what i’m adding to my car you know? Any advice helps thanks :) 🙏🏽

It's not bias, when the quality is so obviously different.

What a lot of people don't understand, is that these cars are "pay to play." People put cheap tires on a near 500 hp muscle car and wonder why they don't last long. People put much wider tires on stock 9" wheels to avoid forking out the cash for a new set of wider wheels to go with the tires for proper fit and wonder why they have a blowout. People also try to run a summer only track tire on a daily driver... Of course the tires are gonna get shredded on the crap public roads across America. You get what you pay for, or in some cases, you miss what you won't pay for. I know the video is old, but this topic is still very much alive and well in the community. Also, I'm just a random dude ranting and not trying to call you out specifically. I've seen hundreds of guys do this.

Nitto 555s are bad ass. I never understood why people ever thought of them as a rain tire. They are soft compound, summer tires. When it rains you slow down. If you want rain tires and performance buy Michelin sport tires. Its gonna cost you $130 more per tire. "It's raining out, I'm gonna go try my luck in the twisty's". Said no one ever.

When you get a high quality Cold air intake when you put the box in a in the bumper is a air scoop that leads right to the top off the intake what you can do is get some adhesive heat sheild and wrap your cold air intake box on the outside keep everything inside cool also seal the bottom with it

Diablo is the worst tuning solution you can ever buy. It's a waste of money. Do not listen to this guy about this... Anyone that suggests that tuning solution doesn't know a single thing about tuning.. do yourself a favor and get an HPtuners for starters. Most people don't need to get a standalone ECU... Like a Holley dominator or haltech.

It's funny when I hear people knock performance intake & exhaust investments. You may only receive 10-20 hp gains, but the throttle response gains you get gives you immensely explosive access to aaaaall that hp you already have. Add to that a high flowing exhaust, & you're shred'n tires in such manners that would make John Force peanut butter & JEEEEALOUS! Smart video brah!

You can get the 5.7 and then save and buy a crate engine and do th engine swap yourself have the same level of performance without the hefty msrp mark ups

I had the same thing happened to me at the Cadillac dealership in pekin I'll. I took my cady in for a oil change and was siitting in the show room when i saw my car fly past the window out to the street and drifting out of the lot . I had just put new tires on the day before and was getting oil change and transmission service couse i was going to New york the next day . I got up went and found a manager who truely thought it was funny and claimed i was hallucinating. About 30 minutes later my car came back with bold tires and rubber from the tires covering the whole car . I went to the manager again and was told to leave his dealership . Needless to say not only did they ruin my new tires the screwed up my motor as well the moter had a clickety taping sound from that day forward . I took it to another mmecanic who told me the cars tappets were dammaged and the cams were damaged as well . He said it would cost $ 4500 to fix the motor . Needless to say i got a different car and lost $30'000 on that car couse of the damage this deslership did to my car . So if you are in North pekin Market hights ill. Area do not ever go to the Cadillac dealer there they are scumbags and will destroy your car .

Mods aren't necessary on the 6.4. Who cares about Mustangs or Camaro beating the 392. Challenger beats it on looks and size.

So dumb question here but here goes anyway anyone know if just doing exhaust mufflers,headers,cold air intake would increase wear and tear up the diff and rings? Just want the car to breathe freely and sound a bit better than stock bc I don't want to blow up the car trying to do basic mods!! Not trying to boost or turbo just basic mods?

I have an sxt 2020, I love it 22 mpg in town but still commands respect. I did resonator delete on mine and from elbow back went to 21/2 inch pipe laf! Got black cap also.
